Colombia produces only washed Arabica coffee. Arabica beans are often considered superior in taste. Arabica tends to have a smoother, sweeter taste with flavor notes of chocolate and sugar. They often have hints of fruits or berries. Robusta, another variety of coffee, on the other hand, has a stronger, harsher and more bitter taste, with grainy or rubbery overtones.

We do artisanal harvesting of only ripe beans.

Due to the multiple microclimates and latitude, different cup profiles are found.

Thanks to our geographical position we produce fresh coffee all year round.

Juan Valdez coffee has medium roasts to highlight the attributes of the beans, we have different products for each occasion and for different tastes.
